To my mind, Daryl Conner is the greatest thinker in the field of change management today.

In many ways, he is known as the grandfather of the discipline. His seminal work Managing at the Speed of Change sets a course for organizational change, crystallizing the foundational concepts of sponsorship, benefit realization and the “burning platform”.

It was an honour to have the opportunity of interviewing Daryl as a featured expert for the University of Ottawa’s Institute for Strategic Communications & Change. Our conversation explored some of Daryl’s early works, as well as his most recent contributions in the area of character and presence for change practitioners.
